Ogden

Few years ago i lived in the south-west of France in a very small village called Autoire, it is classed as one of the most beautiful villages of France. I don't think there was more than 300 habitants, but there was a little wood and in the heart of it, a waterfall. Me and my partner used to go there almost everyday, sometimes with a cup of tea but most of time with a notebook for me. I started to write fairytales, or just notes about a little world called Ogden. Ogden means "valley of oaks" in old english and i thought it was quite an appropriate place for fairies to live in. Over the years i've imagined lots of characters that i'm now ready to make so they can finally live in this world. And recently i've started with a couple of pixies, woodland pixies that you can find hidden under twigs or roots, and sometimes (but very rarely) they leave the woods to find some food in a vegetable patch...
Their favourite meal is pumpkin, that's why i'm trying to grow some in my garden. And it's working because i spotted one hidden under a leaf!

The little pixies are available on my second Etsy shop:

  1. They are just lovely! And what a magical place! Would love to have a nature spot like this near by, but not possible in the city...At least I have a beautiful and huge park just around the corner, Le Bois de La Cambre, with a lake where we can even rent little boats :-)
